Kristie Oliver assumed the role as Executive Director of the Coalition for Family & Children’s Services in May of 2009. As Executive Director, she is responsible for and oversees the Coalition’s Mission and vision. • Mission: To influence and shape policy and practice for the betterment of Iowa children and families and the organizations that serve them. • Vision: We envision a true public/private partnership providing Iowa’s at-risk children and their families an array of fully funded, quality, outcome-based services. Kristie brings over 15 years of experience in advocacy, health care, compliance, Medicaid and child welfare related issues. A licensed attorney in Iowa and Illinois, Kristie has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa and a Juris Doctorate from Drake University. Her professional carrier includes serving as government relations liaison, lobbyist and staff attorney with the Iowa Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, Compliance Coordinator for Life Care Services and Assistant State’s Attorney for Rock Island, Il. Kristie is a native Iowan who enjoys meeting new people, reading, the Iowa seasons and spending time with family, especially her husband and two dogs


Martha Munro has been with the Coalition since September of 2009. As Child Welfare Provider Training Academy Coordinator at the Coalition, she is responsible for and oversees the goal of the public/private partnership with the Iowa Department of Human Services • The goal of the Child Welfare Provider Training academy is to improve provider supervisor and provider staff skills and knowledge through training. By improving staff skills, the intent is to improve outcomes for children and their families that come into care. Martha brings over 15 years of marketing, event planning and customer service to the Coalition. Her professional career includes advertising consultant, sales representative event planning and hospitality. Martha earned her degree in Sales and marketing from AIB with a Minor in Finance. Martha is a native Iowan who is very adaptable and enjoys meeting new people. She is involved with activities for Holy Trinity, St. Pius X, and Dowling Catholic High School and enjoys spending time with family.


Bailey Kufner has been with the Coalition since September 2015. She is a part time administrative assistant working with both the Coalition and the Child Welfare Training Academy. Bailey has worked in health care for over 6 years including working with other non-profit organizations. Currently she is a student at Simpson College where she is studying computer information systems. Bailey utilizes her schooling to help with the website and other administrative services. Bailey is a native Iowan and enjoys meeting new people. Bailey enjoys spending time with her three dogs and her husband.
